Who should I invite to my Trunk Show?

Anyone and everyone! The rule of thumb is one-third of those invited will be able to attend. So, pull out that neighborhood and church directory, your holiday card mailing list; and your supper club, bunko, dance and soccer moms lists. The more the merrier!

Of course just a small get-together is great too. We can't wait to meet your friends, however many there may be!

What about invitations?

We have beautiful invitations and postcards available to you. Your Fashion Stylist will help you with the best invite for your show and your group of friends.

Can a friend co-host a show with me?

Absolutely! That is two guest lists and two sets of friends to share Vintage Couture with! You and your co host can just share the rewards.

Do I need to prepare a great deal of food?

Absolutely not! We want this to be fun for you too - so stay out of that kitchen!

The rule is “something salty, something sweet, and something fun to drink.” You want to have bookings from your show, so if your friends see how easy it is to host, they will be eager to book from your show.

Can guests take home their purchases?

Our consultants are not required to carry inventory. That is the beauty of having your own business as a Vintage Couture Fashion Stylist.

All of our product ships directly from our warehouse in McKinney, Texas.

They will receive their orders approximately 7-10 days after your show order has been entered and submitted in the system.

What if my friends want to order, but can't make the show?

Your Fashion Stylist will have her own website and be able to set up your party online so that your friends both near and far can “attend” your show online if they cannot make the live event.

Can I have a Trunk Show somewhere other than my home?

A show is anywhere you and your friends want to gather. It can be a happy hour at a restaurant, during a lunch break at your workplace, or anywhere you and your friends will be.

Ask your Fashion Stylist's opinion and we know she will be able to guide you on some great choices for everyone to have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.

Will I be able to see all the collections at my show?

Our Fashion Stylists have a core business line that represents the majority of the line, in a variety of sizes so that your customers can get a great idea of fit.

You will be able to view the entire line in both our hard copy catalog as well as on-line.

How often do you change your collections?

We currently change our line four times a year: Spring, Summer, Fall/Holiday and Winter. A great reason to host four shows a year… or more!

What forms of payment are accepted at Trunk Shows?

We accept checks as well as most major credit cards.

Do I deliver the completed Trunk Show order?

Your guests will have the option of shipping their orders directly to them for a slight cost, or the products will ship directly to you as the hostess.

Another fun idea for getting the orders to their owners is having a fun “pick-up party.” This is a fun get-together that you can have as a follow-up where all of your friends come over to pick up their orders, have a little girl time and look at each others orders.

Will I receive free clothing for hosting?

You are rewarded hostess credit based on the retail sales of your show. With a qualifying show, you will receive free and half price credit to apply toward anything in our current line. Friends and free clothes! What could be better?

What day works best for a Trunk Show?

There is never a perfect time or date. Just pick a good time and day for you and invite everyone. We can add to your show with online orders from those that cannot attend.

Can I just buy what I need in a store instead of hosting a show?

Our exclusive collections are only found through a Vintage Couture Fashion Stylist.

Your friends will love the fact that they can have a “personal shopper” assist them with their selections in a casual setting.
